1974 1200 Info: Brought to the USA as a competition car by American Honda when new. It was raced at almost every major track in the country. I bought it as a roller after having a complete tube frame and coil overs installed. It also had Accord brakes. Since I bought it a few years back I installed Koni inserts,twin Mikunis, Electromotive crankfire and many other mods. |

This is the Daytona 6 Hour Race in July, morning
before race. Ran all 6 hours without problems, got 20 MPG during race conditions!

Built 3 1200s and raced IMSA and SCCA First Honda Civic in IMSA RS Series, 1st Honda 1200 Civic to complete the 6 hours of Daytona, did that twice..1st Honda Civic to run the Sebring Race..Yellow car clocked on Daytona at 148 MPH..thats with 1200 CC’s..on radial tires. |
